Grandma at Grandma'sGoulash provides a picture and a word prompt for this Microfiction Meme and the rules are use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words.

Want more challenge? Use the word of the week in your story. This part is optional.

This week's word is METHODICAL here's the picture and my offering using the picture and word of the week  in 140 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

Who could have lined these so perfectly,
other than a methodical Peep?
Then why is one different?
See the slat white,
sixth from the right?

Steve E

Just a little 'd'version' to get me out of
my funk--spell that correctly, Peeps!

  1. Soo sweet .It is always pleasure to read your poems. Take care.

  2. Divertion and diverse and a great version of your own in verse which so well could escape too.
But this is as beautiful as you only you can be peeeep!

    Behave yourself- I meant...take care!

  3. 140 characters....sound vaguely familiar. Very OCD on the photo, I agree.

  4. haha...one slat has to stand out...is that creativity...march to a different beat maybe...smiles.

  5. The number sixth is odd, but you get me smiling.

  6. "Perfect, except for..."
Different doesn't mean not perfect. :)Just sayin'.

PS: Did I offend? I finally got brave enough to ask a question on your Sept. 7th post...no answer back.

  7. The parking lot was so full even the disabled parking was occupied!

  8. grins*
    very clever, you fascinating man♥

i want the toys, btw. very cute, especially the pink trike. xo

  9. Excellent take on the pic. I hadn't noticed that white slat, very observant. :)

  10. Funny what different folks notice about a photo. I had totally missed that slat, although it really does stand out. Good mf.
