"I'LL BE BACH"--WILL YOU BE BEETHOVEN?

Until Monday, I'll just be dropping in as time permits, to visit your posts. Going to the Atlantic side of Florida (Stuart) for an AA Pow-wow. A learning experience...and FUN! With sober Peeps! What could be a better life? I've lived several--believe me (grin)--and THIS way is by FAR the best. JOY is my wish for you ALL....and PEACE!
Steve E

J.S. Bach was a busy man, composer, father. He composed thousands of works. He was father of 22 children--or was it 28? I forget. So maybe did HE?

But ya gotta admit to "busy"--grin!

So--did Schwarzenegger wish to be a musician?  He said, "I'll be Bach!"

This is my MAN, Ludwig Van Beethoven. The question was asked, "Who wrote Beethoven's great NINTH?" The answer: Beethoven! GAWD, am I ever smart--grin! His quartets and several of his symphonies are, to me, the closest I'll ever be associated--in this life--with near PERFECTION!

What an HONOR God allowed me (and many) to make music, and for 70 years of violin playing, to interpret the creativity of this musical GIANT!  So grateful!

LOVE and PEACE...see you Tuesday morning!

Having fun. Being safe. In fact...LOTS of fun. The non-fun usually happens on the last day, Sunday. That's when the arguing (discussing--grin!) and voting happen, over a 3-4-hour period. I LOVE IT ALL!!!! (YOU know that!)
    PEACE!

  9. JEREMY!
Just got back in Naples. First thing (NATURALLY?) is to get right onto the blogs! Visited my daughter (like to tell you all about her somewhat 'different' life, but she wishes to remain anonymous--grin!) and she had those Beethoven Piano Trios playing softly all through her house. This morning then was one of the 'complete'
versions of THE MESSIAH--WHAT a way to wake up on a wondrously-cool-but-nice Central Florida Monday morning.

    MILE 191!
You make me recall the first time I looked up 'Mile Marker 191' on GOOGLE EARTH...first had to find it on a map. You cannot know how much I'd like to hear more from you, Lady! Good thoughts and Prayers are for YOU today!
    PEACE,
    Steve E

  10. Throw in Handel and you have my 3 faves.

Bach first! The Dm fugue and tocata, OMG, I inhale that piece.

Steve E. It was a happy moment to see you back in Funsterland.

    Wishing you well always...

  12. TESS KINCAID!
You're always there--and here, aren't you? Girl, I really appreciate you dropping by.
    PEACE!

    JANNIE FUNSTER!
Monday morning I woke up in my daughter's house--to the great music of THE MESSIAH! I agree with "The Funster from Funsterland"!!!

    JUST BECAUSE TODAY!
Purpose of music--IMO--is to praise God...and to raise our minds to a place above earthly stuff. And that's sure enough. Knowing a little of the history--as in any discipline--can enhance the enjoyment. (I'm glad I got TWO right--grin!!!)
    PEACE!
