DREAM----IS WHAT DREAMERS DO

A song loved since my earliest memory...

Beautiful Dreamer

I DREAM. THEREFORE I AM!

Beautiful dreamer,
Wake unto me
Starlight and dewdrops
Are awaiting thee

Sounds of the rude world

Heard in the day
Led by the moonlight
Have all passed away

Beautiful dreamer,

Queen of my song
List' while I woo thee
With soft melody

Gone are the cares of

Life's busy throng

This, my dream

Thoughts, when

they are at peace
Need not words
nor speech.

Our eyes will tell

heaven and earth
of love and worth

...our tale

This dream, mine own
is of two
such loves who
become as ONE.
in UNION!

and yes, even the Universe
as one Gigantic Entity.
With you and me
known will be
Its Name.
LOVE

    1. An old 40's song: "My Dreams Are Gettin' Better All The Time". I think the movie...STATE FAIR. As you know Grace, dreams CAN and DO become reality!

  5. I always love coming here Steve--you are the perfect antidote to every blah and barren doubt, with your firm grasp of what is really important in life. I remember that song from my childhood also.

  6. Can you believe people, even in the Bible, use "dreamer" as an expression of insult???
People who have lost their dreams are in fact deprived of the main reason and force for living.
Dream on man, and live your dreams.

    1. Hi, Ayala!

"Love is the best dream"?? But, Ayala...but, but....but, hopefully, that love is not only a dream.

Well, it may begin as a dream. Through time, change and growth it can become reality.
      Love and PEACE!

  11. I agree with Ayala, and I'll add To dream is to love and to love is to dream. Thanks again, Steve for your support and comments on my blog. You always seem to make me smile or laugh! Much love!

    1. Everything comes into God's light--one way or the other, what we humans call "good" or "bad". God's light makes them all sweet chocolate, (if that is His Will--grin!!!)

  13. "will tell heaven and earth/of love and worth." I loved that phrase. The dreams we remember often enable us to share with others our expanded view, that boundless arena of the unconscious that gives way to our small place in the unfathomable Creation.

The final stanza, not only its form, but its meaning (and that is "its" by the way, wink) was luscious and dripping with meaning for me. Peace, Steve, and thanks, Amy

    1. IT'S Peeps like YOU, Amy, who show me/us that IT'S never perfect, always some flaw, some incorrectness. Re this writing, I fixed the problem in ITS last lines.

You ARE a "Sharp Little Pencil", Babe. Thank you, thank you ;-)

I looked for you in my sidebar, and no such Peep exists as Amy...
so THIS is how one makes it back into the lineup--grin! And you ARE!
      PEACE, Peep!

    1. NOT moderating.

      But there is much I don't understand--grin!
Found your comments and published them (and others!)

Dreams. I have them also, several types. In summation of my own dreams, I become aware that God has a plan of which I can be a part or not.
      The unknowing is still unknown.

Tuesday morning I leave on that scooter, to travel. Sure, an itinerary is sort of formed...however, it is loosely bound.

      Takecare, Dulce, and dream on....
