LOVE IS NOT DEAD

A Valentine poem
from one who lives in heaven
to one who is living on earth

FLORIDA

bottom, Westerly,to right is Southerly)

POEM FROM BEYOND

Feeling is so strong:
sometimes, looking down,
I see right into your world of
living, working, laughing, loving.

This Valentine Day I frown
that it has been so long
I wandered off and away
from the darkest nights
on that sunlit day, to stay,
in this heavenly space.

Frowning, I look down;
this love you believed lost
 transitioned into
sweetest soul-fragrance,
purest love--essence
of everything,
all that was or ever is.

If love is not,
God is not!

Caring, sharing, though
you might not know;
keeping you safe.
our family too...
so much now I see,
between frown
and looking down

Love makes not fools,
only of those who
refuse to believe

Love never dies, never lies,
never says those "goodbyes"...

You've never been loved more
since couple years before--
 as my soul finally escaped,
hovered over the shore,
then WHOOOSH!
Seems like, WOW!
everywhere now

Do you "feel" me looking down?
Don't you sense nearness?
I dearly, clearly bless
you AND LOVE YOU
on this beautiful
VALENTINE'S DAY!

  1. smiles....i like the thought of those gone on looking back and wishing love on us left behind....the love we share here on earth can be pretty jacked up at times...but it is a pale shadow of the perfect love we will one day feel....smiles.

    1. Yesssss! A pale shadow. Funny, on a cloudy day there is less (or none) shadow, as I find in bright sunlight (of the spirit??!)

Thank you, my Friend in old, cold, Virginia!

what can I really say, "poem from beyond" perfectly defines "love"!

Happy Valentine's day and thanks for sharing this beautiful poem.

  3. Thank you for dropping my blog place. I had read your last post for December a few weeks ago, and thought you had left Blog World for good. Even tried to leave a message for you at your FB page (I am also on FB) but the message was returned... I found it strange not to be able to connect! So thank you for reconnecting, Steve. As for me, I've not been able to visit my blog neighbors too often. Praying all is well with you. Happy Valentine's Day!

    Blessings

  4. PS This Valentine Day poem is so meaningful, because as you know, the love of my life has already gone home to heaven! And yes, I know it is true: "Love never dies, never lies,
    never says those "goodbyes"..."

  6. Seems that this line Love never dies, never lies, never says those "goodbyes"... caught the attention of many of us. I took the poem as loving purely and strongly after having been in the darkest nights and finding light in that love. Regardless if that's what you meant or not, it is tender yet strong poem.
