A GREATER DIMENSION

THE FINEST ACT OF LOVE

Naples Florida Beach MONDAY August 27, 2012
Hurricane Isaac now far away from us--
but right in midst of others. PRAY!

Used to be
(or seemed to me)
that love is rings, 'things'
I do for the one I love
--you

Comes a newer thought,
something I had ought
to know
many years ago

To be the 'achiever'
is not how we're bent.
He truly made us...as
His Own 'achievement'!

It is not actions, deeds
which are most fertile seeds.
Rather, it is how
do I 'see' you now?

Finest act of love
is not in service done;
helping, supporting,
comforting, alleviating
your pain.

It is but to SEE the beauty
and goodness of your soul.

For when I do
you see it, too!
and so we grow
with confidence,
in consciousness

This way for transformation
enabling a sweetest creation
through act of contemplation
for you, for me, for all--
download, unzip, install.

  1. Oh, a true love letter. She is one lucky lady.

And not to make light of your insight, but my soul looks better these days than my packaging.

Please tell Anna that is a beautiful photo.

    1. Tracy, you forced me to look at myself in a mirror. OMG! Ears sticking out, big fat nose (at least it ain't red!), sagging eyes...how awfully funny I/we? look. thank God our souls are invisible--because they will be seen by all, after time IS no more. And NAKED! HA!

      Anna appreciated your comment. Thanks!
      PEACE!

    2. Sweetness, I'm Nancy. Tracy is my cousin. :) Must have been the shock of looking in the mirror. :)

    1. Claudia, I just KNEW you would understand this, and see that it does NOT mean to not do things for others, or help them. Thank you, my friend!

    1. Gee, thanks John. I cannot say "great" writing but I can say I enjoy it. About #3, after playing violin, and riding motor scooter, #'s 1 and 2...

But I love support like you show.
      PEACE!

    1. OK Brian, thanks.

Since you know me now, I admit that of what I write I learn more with each day of practice. AND practicing (like on violin) is a 'freeing' exercise, to see Peeps as they are, their souls. Without any sense of judgement.

And it always gets better. Day after day, month, year, etc...
      Guaranteed.

Thank you for support and comments.
      PEACE, Bro!

  6. This is so true, Steve--we try so hard to *do* when we need to see, understand, feel, just be. I love the way your mind works, and I love this poem.

    1. ...and I love you name, which I only moment ago discovered: JOY!
My father taught us--without 'teaching'!--that joy can live alongside ANY circumstance or impediment. He was deaf and blind, and definitely lived (farmer) with JOY. I used to catch him back in a field mending fences, humming to himself--he sang AWFUL! (But I bet in heaven they loved it!)

Two nuns wrote a booklet--self-published--about his life, titled LIVING WITH JOY. So you see what I mean about "I love your name!"

      PEACE, Joy!

  7. To have someone really "see" us and love us still is a love of depth indeed. Nicely done.

    1. HA! Green Speck, the only "amazing" thing here is that some Peeps think I wrote something 'well' and 'amazing'!--grin!

  9. Very cool- thanks!
Really listening means emptying ourself out of 'any' thoughts, worry, feelings; seeing someone without judgements would be similar no? PEACE.

    1. "...Judge not..." Yup, IZZY, I believe that when non-judgmental we are closer to God's likeness. For I don't see God as the Great Inquisitor, the harsh JUDGE of mankind.

Sometimes I see more clearly than other times, this thought: That we are the judges of ourselves. We intuitively know whether we are headed for Eternal happiness...or NOT! If not, there is no way we can escape what WE know, and have judged concerning ourselves.

Hope that doesn't sound "too far out" for ya. Forgot to mention, YES, I AM crazy--grin!

      PEACE!

    1. Jane, how sweet of you to read and comment.
I know--as so must you know, that

      words I write or say,
      thinking which I may
      rearrange
      and arrange,
      no matter how wild
      are but compiled
      of stuff from others--OKAY?

(I have never had an original thought,
      since 9 months before birth--grin!)

      Blessings, Jane, to you.
      Peace, and love, too.

    1. I know the word gravatar...just don't know how I got hooked into it...clicked something after 2 AM I guess. And want OUT!--grin!

Well, I like Google, they got SO much, and it's all tied together and it's all free! And I couldn't care LESS about them stealing my information, etc. I got nothing anybody wants. Even my bank account would not invite theft.
      LOL!

I think you right--Apple (iPad) and Google/Droid do not mix well.
