    Steve,
    this is so sweet. In October we picked up a small black kitten at a local animal shelter. His name is Coal. He's beautiful and he has given our six year old Bichon Frise Jack a whole new lease on life. They play together, nap together, wash one another up. They are truly best friends, all differences set aside. Love your picture, love you! Merry Christmas and may you and yours be blessed with the best of "new Years" to come!

    My clan do a similar thing- except the cat found a wrapped catnip present ( for another family member)
    and started to chew on the corner-
