FLASH '55' NUMBER ONE
Bleakness descended
Void not mended
What's left from fire
Embered into nothingness
In bed at two..up at five
Now, to see how
I might survive, stay alive
With that computer untended
A spring-break!
A Blog-break!
Not going away
Right here to stay
To read, comment,
And be sent
Void not mended
What's left from fire
Embered into nothingness
In bed at two..up at five
Now, to see how
I might survive, stay alive
With that computer untended
A spring-break!
A Blog-break!
Not going away
Right here to stay
To read, comment,
And be sent
Into that special place
Of hope--

Now I'm confused. Taking another break or just celebrating having taken one?

Hey, Steve!!! It's been awhile since I stopped by! I've been busy offline. I just got back from a writer's conference. You are certainly a good writer!!! You have such a unique style and way of writing "visually", to where I actually see what you are writing! You're good! I hope you are printing off these FFFs and other works and putting them in a book or something!!!! Hope you are enjoying your spring break!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Kimberly
I've only been posting a few times a week, to stay alive! Thanks for your kind words today. (blush)
ReplyDelete"I've seen some hot hot places come down to smoke and ash," to quote you-know-who from the Canadian prairies.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't mean that about your blog, or post. Your embered line just reminded me about Joni.
Happy break! I know I always love my blogging breaks.
