A BURNING DESIRE
(haiku)
(haiku)
Burning desire
Way back there my house on fire
Men shooting their guns.
I remember when
There was no fence here at all.
Men set posts at night.
Why this barby wire?
Keep bad men out--or me in?
Neither accomplished...
Those people back there
Have no clue whut's gonna happen
(Mountain will blow up...)
Explosives planted
Everywhere. Yes, I did it.
Fireworks at nine.

yikes...might not want to be around at nine....what we put up to protect us can become our own trap as well....barb wire is no joke...got a big scar on my leg from it...
ReplyDeleteugh... barb wire was never a good solution... def. the fireworks will do their job and hopefully scare the bad guys away
ReplyDeleteOuch!
ReplyDeleteRevenge. Can't wait until nine.
ReplyDeleteBring it on ... 9 it is ...
ReplyDeleteI know u don't follow me anymore ... but I'll be there at 9 sharp anyway ... :)
DeleteYikes! I wanna watch... (love how she's hiding her head behind your sidebar)
ReplyDeleteOh dear goodness, run, run before the blasts begin!
ReplyDeleteSnagged on the bRb with the fuse almost out !
ReplyDeleteSharply innovative; very well done.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it was intentional, but the chopped-off head is very effective. Lots of haiku on this one but you do five! I like the second one.
ReplyDeleteOh my, don't mess with that lady...
ReplyDeleteI like your Haiku and other poems. I'm not one for writing poetry but maybe later in life I'll come around to it.
ReplyDeletethat was a very stirring read. nice take
ReplyDeleteChilling ... loved the pace of your haiku ... this one is my favorite -
