TWO TOPICS

PART THE FIRST

WALK ACROSS TIBETAN BRIDGE IN DAVIERE, PIEDMONT, ITALY

1. Set my affairs in order
2. Make a GoooD confession
3. GO!

(Yes, I would!)

For a closer, 1½ minute look,

(I love the philosophy of the female narrator,

who thought of turning back, and she says,
"NO! This is like in life, you say 'yes' and then
you DO it"

PART THE SECOND

FORTY YEARS AGO, March 18, 1974, at age 40, I drank my last quart of cheep vodka (the kind you can still taste the next day--grin!). And so today marks 40 years of abstinence from alcohol or any mind altering stuff...well, there IS (Thank You God!) COFFEE! Please join me in a prayer to God, for the suffering alcoholic-addict out there who might see her/himself as HELPLESS and HOPELESS...

PEACE and LIGHT, Blog-Friends!
Promise I'll TRY to post more frequently
b/c it is GoooD for me!

  3. Congratulations on such a milestone and I know it is grounded in gratitude. My mother has been sober since 1967--she is now 93. She has dementia, but still exudes both serenity and such a positive attitude. God bless you.

    1. Thank you, Victoria. News of your mother sure inspires me, to keep on keeping on. Life is still a happy place for me, and I do not envision ever having an attitude that sucks. If your mother can keep her serenity and good attitude, BY GOD (Yes, BTW!) so can I.
      Thak you again.....

    1. DO intend to meet you this summer--somehow--sometime. We'll work it out.
Got a new scooter last July 4th which has never been more than a couple hundred miles from the barn.
It is like I'm neglecting him (Flex2)...
