CONSIDER:
I have found that "THERE"
is no better than "HERE"..
When my "there"
has become "here"
I will simply have obtained another "there"
Which will again look better than "here".
DID YOU KNOW:
The country of Tibet is at an average elevation of 16,000 feet,
(That's 3 miles!)
It is not a candidate for a tidal wave, right?
Ya just never know, Peeps.
Fossils of sea creatures, have been found in the rocks up there.
It WAS under water once.
(My guess is that the internal combustion engine was responsible
for global freezing, melting, whatever. One thing is certain.
Boat building enjoyed a few good eons of business.
There...not here--grin!)
Facts about Tibet are from L M Boyd's "Curiosity Shop" a huge accumulation of strange but true "little-knowns" in our universe
did not know...how am i ever going to sleep tonight now that i am thinking these things...
ReplyDeleteThat hypothesis is so wrong. The earth's crust was reshaped billions of years ago. The earth is 4.54 billion years old. The harness of electricity was not until the 1800. Benjamin Franklin was not flying kites to prove electrical current until 1752. The first electric battery was around 1779. Please, global warming and global freezing occurred without the help, aid or adverse effects from apes and humans. Try again. Tsup!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I need your help soon. Please stand by. Wait for announcement in my blog. :)
P.S. I mailed Lindol yesterday.
ReplyDeletefancy that!
ReplyDeletethis is great :)
ReplyDeleteWho can say about tidal waves, but- earthquakes!---
ReplyDeleteAnd the all-time favorite: no matter where you go, THERE you are!
ReplyDeleteHi, Steve!
"I have found that "THERE"
ReplyDeleteis no better than "HERE"..
When my "there"

Wow, that's deep! A lesson in contentment! I'm chewing on this!!!
MINING FOR DIAMONDS!
ReplyDeleteKimberly, chew away--but it will NOT take the place of a good after-concert steak (or 'veggie-plate', if that's your bag!--grin!)
KRISTIN!
When you're SO right, you cannot be wrong!
IZZY!
YOU know, and I know, there is much we DON'T know. SO I (TRY!!!) to simply Trust, relax, and Love!
MARGG!
Seeing your name in 'comments' is GREAT!
DAFT SCOTS LASS!
I can tell, you were really IMPRESSED--GRIN!!!
WARNING!
More of those 'facts' from L M Boyd are coming...
PEACE!
CES!
I will meet LINDOL at the Greyhound station--grin!
Is the name "Lindol" a combination of Lynn+Doll? I just K N O W that is wrong--grin!
CES!
I believe ("Yes, Lord...I believe!") that it was not clear enough--that my tongue-in-cheek hypothesis
was misunderstood. But I'll leave it as is. Thank you for alerting me, Ces!
BRIAN!
I just bet you slept GoooD! And again tonight, back at home, you will sleep like a baby. Just don't do what babies DO when they sleep, like DO-DO?--grin!
I have just found your blog. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your philosophy and info about the earth. Very intriguing!
All the best Steve,
Jo May.
JOANNE MAY!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice of you to "say it TWO times!!!" And I was going to leave it on there, but you beat me to it, and removed. HA!
Thank you for reading and commenting!
"Jo May" Short-and-Sweet is hard to beat!
PEACE!
ANDREW!
I was confused by that old, old, posting of your blog yesterday? Did you really do that, or was it a "bad Peep"? At any rate..thanks for being here
CES!
Above, you wrote: "I need your help soon. Please stand by."
Whenever I see on-line that someone will "need my help" it almost always is like this--BIG GRIN:
"I am the long-lost, last of my generation who wishes to hide twenty billion ($20,000,000,000) USD dollars in your country. For your trouble, I will pay you two billion ($2,000,000,000) in USD dollars. Please contact me with your bank account numbers!
--the Most honourable
(s) Frank Jones in Haiti."
LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!!! Where I find out someone withdrew all my deposits, someone named Frank Jones (honorable) in Haiti..............
Thanks Steve for another great post!
ReplyDeleteLoved your "There" "Here" poem!
And the pictures are awesome!
Have a wonderful day of joy!
Margie :)
Sherezade
Now you've got us thinking. I love the beach shot too! If I sit in the "here" wondering about the "there", I miss what the "here" has to share.
ReplyDeleteOh, I made a rhyme! :)
MARGIE!
ReplyDeleteLove that word JOY--it does NOT have to mean "happy" as it is above the simple state of a puppy wagging its tail with happiness. JOY is spiritual, totally. And when we have that--we know it, there is nor room for error.
SHEREZADE!
I am having trouble understanding this, even the translator is confusing me. Maybe I'll buy a better one than the free Google, etc.
A world of star-brights for you, too!
MAGPIE!
Tell me, O Muse...when have you OT been able to make a rhyme? Nice comment!
believe it or not, I remember Sesame Street because of the "there" joke. The kid wanted to be there, but everytime he got there he was here. I still laugh when I think of that.
